People do Business with People!
By Lataya Ballard
People don't do business with ads, flyers, business cards, marketing key chains or billboards. People
do business with people. Poor "people skills" and customer service can stop the best marketing dead
in its tracks because
people do business with people. The marketing and advertising helps -
don't be confused here! But neither should you be deceived.
People make the buying decisions for
companies, organizations and their own families. People are influenced by their own knowledge. The
more people know about the people they are doing business with the better chance of business being
done. What’s even more intriguing is that
people do business with people they have something
in common with
; it could be gender, race, ethnic background, nationality, age, or religion.

"Interesting reading but what does that have to do with me?" This question may have crossed your
mind if you don't currently have an established network of associates you do business with.
Chances
are, you don't want to have to pick up the Yellow Pages and call 5 strangers for an estimate
and go with the lowest bidder and hope for the best
.

You probably wish you knew someone who offered the service you need when you need it
or at least could get a decent referral for it.
OR you could be or employ account executives,
sales professionals, marketing representatives who work for you that need to build their client base to
make YOU more MONEY. You WANT people to know why you offer superior service. You WANT
people to tell their boss, co-workers and friends what a great job you did or can do finding that house,
planning that event, printing those brochures, designing that web site or whatever it is that you fill in
the blank with.

Building relationships with professional in many different industries is the key to success
for more people than you can imagine.
Networking is building those relationships. Finding a place
to start "networking" usually starts with finding those individuals you like or have something in
common with.

Christians have
something in common. Christians are every where. Christians own businesses.
Christians are in every industry. Christians share a belief system. Christians share similar ethics.
Christians need support from other Christians to be encouraged. Christians need to do business with
people. Why not do business with other Christians? The trouble is most Christians don't do a lot of
business with other Christians because they don't KNOW a lot of other Christians other than from
Church. And frankly, you go to Church to worship not pass out business cards or sell your goods and
services.
You go to Church to worship Jesus, not find a great hair dresser, photographer,
web designer or physician
.

Christians Networking Group closes the gap to give Christian professionals an opportunity
to meet one another outside of their place of worship and build business relationships,
support one another professionally, and promote the highest standard of Bible-based
ethics in their professional lives.
