People Do Business with People!
Wouldn't you?
Newsflash: People don't do business with ads, brochures, business cards,
marketing key chains or billboards. People do business with people. Poor
communication skills, people skills and customer service can stop the best
marketing dead in it's tracks because people do business with people. Don't be
confused, the marketing and advertising helps, but neither should you be deceived.
People, not titles, make buying decisions for companies, organizations and their
own families.
(With this in mind should we focus more on building relationships for business than anything else?)
People are influenced by their own experiences. When people know more about
the people they are doing business with, there is a better (or worse!) chance of
business being conducted. What's even more intriguing is that people do business
with people they have something in common with. The commonality could be
gender, race, ethnic background, nationality, age, or religion. Read More
